Avery's 1st Gotcha Day in the USA

For Avery's first "Gotcha Day" in the USA we decided to have lunch with grandma and cousin Dylan. That evening we wanted to try something different so we went to the loop and tried Jilly's Cupcake Bar. Man, was that ever good! Avery wasn't sure about eating a cupcake at first. She picked at it, licked it and then decided to eat it. She did a pretty good job. The owner, Jilly, was taken with Avery. She thought that she was so pretty (I tend to agree:)) and how special it was that we were spending her gotcha day at her establishment. She decided to allow Avery to pick out the adorable pink hat (which you see towards the end of the slide) as a gift to her for "gotcha". We had a great time and look forward to next years Gotcha Day festivities. We love you baby girl!
