We have now been home 1 week tonight. Avery is adjusting quite well. We went to see the doctor this morning to weigh in. She has gained a 1/2 pound since last Saturday and her current weight is 13 pounds.
Owen is really struggling with having a new sister. He has become very jealous of the attention that she is getting. He cries and screams whenever I hold her. He thinks he should have mommy all to himself. I am hoping with more time he will feel more at ease with sharing!
Also, I am in the process of trying to find an announcement that I like to send out for Avery. If you have suggestions on companies, please post in the comment section.

Sorry to hear about Owen, but I'm sure it will get better with time.
I also looked at www.purplestork.com when trying to choose and they have really cute adoption announcements as well.
I'm sorry that Owen is having a hard time. I'm sure he will be a great big brother once he gets through the adjustment.

So sorry that sleep has been hard to come by! Remember not to judge anything for either of the kids based on weeks that have any sort of sickness involved - everything is always fruit-basket upset when the kiddos aren't feeling well. Hope Owen finds his special big brother role for you soon! :)
